Seeking Summer 2015 Marketing Intern

Susan G. Komen® North Florida is seeking a Marketing Intern. Duties include management of all social media activity including content research, monthly logs, weekly reporting, audience response and monthly analytics to inform strategic planning. Candidates must be self-sufficient, diligent workers who can manage their own deadlines. This is an onsite, unpaid internship requiring between 15 and 20 hours per week. Position Title: Marketing Intern

Reports To: Executive Director

Classification: Internship, Temporary, Part Time, No Benefits

Primary Responsibilities

•Perform as the social media voice for the Affiliate, including research and identification of social media content, constant monitoring of social media forums and responding to the Affiliate’s social media audience

•Provide administrative support in the solicitation, coordination and management of media sponsors as needed

•Maintain dashboards and critical analytics for social media pages to help identify trends and opportunities

•Send regular reports to Executive Director with a full quantitative and qualitative analysis, including suggestions for strategic growth

•Update media contact list as needed

•Other duties as assigned

Education

•Currently enrolled and attending college or higher

•Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with a variety of communities, individuals and volunteers

•Proficient in social media and social media management platforms

•Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn web based applications quickly

•Strong organizational skills to plan implement and complete various tasks that will differ day to day

•Creative thinker and exceptional reasoning ability with successful implementation of solutions. Self-motivated, team player with the ability to meet deadlines, remain flexible and adjust to changing priorities

•Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks and adapt to readily changing situations

•Exercise discretion and good judgment
